I have both a HP Proliant ML350 Server for my house use.
I am not a geek at this server thing, and this is my problem.
On the back side of my Server I have 2 two power units; I have connected 220V cable to the unit and the other end to Power outlet. I connected my Keyboard, Mouse, and Monitor, and pressed I/O button. Now my server starts, at the front side, first LED light is Green, Second LED light is Red, and Third LED light is Orange, Nothing is displayed at the Monitor, and some Bip, Bip noise is herd from machine. Did I connect right, and if not, how do I connect it. Please help someone.
Please verify if your server power specs support 110 or 220 V. If you are in the US, eventhough you might have connected a 220V cable the line voltage can be 110.
Check with your power company if they can provide you the necessary wattage of the server.(Specs are printed on the power supply. you can read it from HP web also)
Once you are sure that, connect both power suppllies and try booting.
If the error still occurs, it can be a power supply failure or some other hardware failure.
