The green backlite on my honeywell programmable thermostat is not on...have to use a flash lite to see screen....is there a lite bulb to change?

In the configuration menu, there will be a 'Backlight Display Timer" setting or somthing similar. Usually they can be turned on continuous, off or on for a timed period after the display is touched. I set them all for 30 seconds, unless it is for really old people, then I set them continuous.

Why are my eave outlets, controlled by a Honeywell timer, not working?

Timer is a switch.
If the timer is not functioning, the outlets will not turn on.
if the breaker is tripped.
if there is a loose wire or loose wire nut.

My timer is set to shut off at a certain time of day, and I want to turn the timer off, but I can't figure out how to do it. Can you send instructions on how to turn the timer off?

Honeywell product is not identified.
More information is needed to identify product. Add a comment with as much information as possible, to help expert locate correct information.

For example Honeywell makes timer controls for boiler and heat-ac units.
Honeywell also makes Aube brand wall and box timers for lights and pumps.

I have an intermatic C8865 timer. i want to wire it into an EFM model AF150-1 coal stoker furnace, because the fire goes down to far inbetween actual times heat is called for. also have main switch for...

Intermatic C8865 timer is a 5-hour cycle timer that repeats same cycle each 5 hour period.
This timer has 120Volt clock motor and is 120V timer.
Timer has NO and NC terminals.
NO terminal turns ON when timer turns ON
NC terminals is ON all the time, except when timer turns ON. At this point NC terminal turns OFF.

You have 3 things: 120V timer, 120V honeywell transformer, 120V stoker motor/fan
The transformer needs to be ON at all times.
The stoker motor is going to turn ON when the cycle timer turns ON.

You have 120V cable with black wire, white wire (and bare ground, which connects to green ground screw and to other bare grounds and won't be discussed further)

Black wire is hot
White wire is neutral

Black wire connects to 'Switch common terminal' on timer.
Same wire also connects to black wire on Honeywell transformer.

White wire connects to 'Clock terminal' on timer
Same wire connects to white wire on Honeywell transformer and to white wire on Stoker motor.
So all the white wires are connected together.

Last wire is black wire to stoker motor.
This wire connects to NO terminals on timer.

Here is drawing.

I have a Honeywell ST699. Is about a year and a half old. It now repeatedly resets itself to midnight, then goes on for about 3-4 hours, before resetting itself. What is wrong - do I need to replace it?

Check to make sure the built in battery pack is working (holds a charge). Without a functioning battery pack, some timers will not work properly and will only operate for a brief time before resetting itself when the battery pack discharges.

Usually any timer that utilizes a backup battery to retain the program settings will require replacing the batteries or battery pack annually.

You can also check the Honeywell site for more details on your specific model number.

Honeywell UtilityPRO thermostat backlight won't go off

After posting that I was having the same problem, I found a solution.
I used these instructions http://www.hydro-temp.com/help/drawings/honeywell%2069-1894ES.pdf and followed the Installer Setup on pages 6 through 10. Basically you just need to enter the setup mode following the instructions, scroll to setting# 280 and change the setting from "1" to "0" then the backlight will turn off after 8 seconds. Don't change any other settings if you don't know what you are doing.
