SOURCE: PIR Intruder alarm magnetic contact

Hi Bowdi,

Please find the below the information on the contacts.
You will fine two silver screws - This is your Alarm pair and this will go back to the alarm zone on the panel PCB.
The three other brass screws are just junction screws so you can join the cables to go to other doors.
You will need to join the black and blue together to make the tamper circuit.

Regards will

The cooling fan stop working on my Epson EMP 700 Multimedia Projector, can I get a replacement part and replace it myself?

The temperature indicator is red.
The projector is overheating, which turns the lamp off
automatically. Let the projector cool for a few minutes,
then turn it back on. Make sure nothing is blocking the
ventilation vents.
If the projector continues to overheat after you clean the air
filter, the problem may be caused by damage to the cooling
fan or internal circuits. Contact a qualified service person.
ยจ Warning: Do not attempt to service this product yourself except
as specifically explained in this User's Guide.

You left it on to long and burt the image of something else on there and ruined your monitor. Try to have your screen saver set to Ten minutes and turn it off if not using it for a while.

If its more like just weird discoloration, it may be that it needs to be DEGAUZED. to do this, use the monitor controls and select it from the options and press the button to degauz it, it will make a funny noise and wiggle the screen and then come back to normal. This may help or solve the problem depending on how bad it is.

Anything Magnetic that gets to close can do this to a monitor.

Keep out of direct sunlight and away from magnets.

Degauzing is bassically a small EMP pulse that will discharge magnetic field disruption do to sunlight or magnets.

Good luck.
