did you get the charging base with the hand set
is it a charging base or a base station base
if it is just a charging base , follow the instructions as how to get the base station to recognize the next phone
if it is a base station, probably won't work as you will have 2 base stations trying to work and that will create conflicts
talk with a telephone technician to see what can be done
To factory reset your tracker:
1.Attach the charging cable to your tracker and plug the other end into a USB port.
2.Press and hold the button for approximately two seconds and without letting go of the button:
3.Remove the charging cable from your tracker.
4.Wait about seven to nine more seconds after removing the charging cable.
5.Let go of the button and hold it down again.
6.After "ALT" and a white screen flash, let go of the button and hold it down again.
7.After you feel a vibration, let go of the button and hold it down again.
After you see "ERROR," let go of the button and hold it down again.
After you see "ERASE," let go of the button. The tracker will turn off.
8.To turn your tracker back on, press the button or attach the charging cable (make sure to plug in the other end of the cable). If the time on your tracker reads 0:00, the reset was successful.
9.Next you'll tell your Fitbit account that you're setting up a new tracker.

Sometimes it helps when you keep the cord connected to the computer and use the function to disconnect it from windows. The screen will turn from "USB connect" to "charging". This worked for 2 or my 3 players....not sure about that third one.
Had same problem with blinking lights and not charging.
Plug charger base in (blinking lights), remove controllers, and plug USB cable into front charge slot (behind hinged panel). This reset charger base and lights stopped blinking. As FYI - the USB was connected to other device (charging it). Add the controllers and correct charging lights show up - including the controller 1 and 2 symbols. Controllers now charging.
1. is your charger working properly?(It may be found faulty)
2. is the charging port OK?
If you say that your mobile shows charging in start, and after few minutes it gives an error "charging error stop charging". Then you should confirm first that its charger is original or not. If it is not a original charger, then you should change it...Good luck :p otherwise go to mobile repairing shop.
I am so tired of all the answers that don't help by repeating standard answers that you already know won't work or giving directions for a totally different product. The fix here is simple but not easy. It's either a bad charging/battery connection, a bad battery or both. Low power will cause the exact problem asked here.
As the phones get older, and I'm specifically talking about Panasonic cordless KX-TG563x but this may be true of other rechargeable devices, the metal contacts for charging and battery do not make a good connection like they used to. They may look perfectly fine and free of corrosion but are not actually making a good connection.
Symptoms include the phone getting hot while charging and not holding a good charge. The phone may show 3 bars of charge but still blank out like the battery is dying. With these Panasonic phones, weak battery will cause the phone to unregister and will give false charge level readings in the display. If your phone gets hot when charging, this is most likely your problem.
I had this problem with several handsets and used contact cleaner on the charge base, the phone contacts, the battery contacts inside the phone and on the battery itself. It fixed all the registration, heating and charging problems. I had one stubborn handset I had to clean multiple times but it's now working like new as well. I used DeoxIt contact cleaner from Caig, bought it on eBay. Great stuff. If repeated cleaning of the contacts with a good contact cleaner does not fix the phone, replace your battery. Use contact cleaner on your new battery for best connection. Ebay is a good source for replacement batteries as well. Good luck!
Keep your mp4 player turned OFF while charging and keep it in for an hour. Let it charge up. If that doesn't work something else will - Follow these directions carefully!
1. GENTLY hold your Craig MP4 player in hand. 2. Walk over to window and hold it near sunlight for 2 minutes. 3. Shake it gently 3 times. 4. GENTLY place it down and wait 2 minutes. 5. Grab mp4 player and smash it into trash can.
