Blue power light flilckers, now won't turn on

It sounds like the lamp for your monitor is no longer receiving power. While you can attempt to fix this issue yourself I wouldn't recommend doing so as it doesn't mean it will work after you attempt it.
If the monitor is under warranty still then you should contact the manufacturer about a RMA. If the monitor isn't under warranty then you should purchase a new monitor.

try to check your power cable if it is plug in.

Mine jut did this. What did you end up doing. I did what other people said which was take the battery our and put it on the stand... NOPE... green light on but not sound or picture. I could hold the button down until the cows come home and it will not turn on.

Flashing power light is an indicator of a failing power board or a bad transistor in the inverter board. I fix monitor boards through ebay. If you take it apart and send me pictures , I may be able to see the problem.

Call them as these monitors have a 3-year warranty. No receipt? They will accept your word regarding your purchase. I have two that failed exactly the same way. I called 1-800-SAMSUNG and they gave me the choice of an exchange pair sent directly to my house (requiring a temporary credit card deposit) or by having the exchange pair sent to the UPS store where I would swap out my bad units. No receipt. They merely asked me when I purchased it so they could have it for their records. Manufacture dates such as your (March '06) and a purchase of September '06 are not far fetched at all. Got to give credit to Samsung for being so reasonable.

If the screen is pinkish chances are the panel is defective.Should follow-up with Company Proview and do some correspondence.

That happened to me before. Hold down on the power button for a few seconds. It should restart.
