Question about Optoma HD65 DLP Projector
I replaced the lamp and that wasn't the problem. The repair shop said they checked for fuses and they were good but couldn't fix it.
It's been my experience with projectors that suddenly won't power-up, is that the safety interlock switch on the lamp cover has gotten dusty, and has stopped working. Usually, there is a tab on the cover that presses a hidden, recessed switch. I would recommend checking that first. If that isn't the problem, I would recommend checking the capacitors in the power supply. The issue would probably be one or the other.
