Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Hello !!! Looks like your system is facing a No POST issue. Try these following steps 1) Try removing all the connected external devices like USB flash drive/ printer/ external hard drive / external mouse / docking stations webcam , etc. 2) Remove the battery and AC adapter power cord and press the power button. This will power drain your laptop. 3) After this step if you are still unable to resolve the issue. Then some internal component in the laptop is faulty. You may have to try reseating the memory, Hard drive , Optical drive, and PCI cards in the system. This may resolve the issue. But it is advisable to do it with the help of a DELL technician. Check you manual for the technical support number. Good luck !
