Testimonial: "yes and no. All of the sites want to scan the computer and the g-ways wifi won't work. If I use the other laptop, they want to scan that computer for drivers"
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I took a look out on Gateway's download site and found the usual drivers for your box.
gateway's download site
In particular here is the url to the network driver I think you are looking for
Hopefully you can use a friends pc to connect to this web site, download the driver onto a usb stick, and then take that to your laptop and install the driver.

There are none...sorry, don't think ever will be, only XP is supported, you could try XP SP2 compatibility mode, it may work?

No such luck on drivers. Not all computers HAVE XP drivers. Look up the name of the audio driver in your owner's manual and see if you can find a manufacturer's website for the audio. Dell does not have it at this time.

All of your drivers should be available on the website at mpcdrivers.com. If you have yellow flagged items in control panel/device manager, you need to uninstall the non working driver before installing the right one, otherwise, windows will reload your old driver and cause conflicts with the new one you are trying to install
