Question about Baby Lock Sewing Machines
I have a babylock allageo (first version) and just bought a esante ese 2. I wanted to see what was on the card that came with it so I loaded the card onto my ellageo and it shouwed me a pattern that was on the card. This was after I had tried to look at it on the tiny screen of the esante.....I have a pe-design card reader/writer I bought from someone (do NOT have pe-design software) and I downloaded the win 8 64 version of pe basic to use when I got the reader/writer box and blank card. I used this to load a pattern onto the esante's card that came with it and it of course erased the pattern that was on the card when i got the machine. Now, this is my issue.....after loading the card with the pattern through PE-basic, my ellageo will read the card but the esante is now telling me that the card cannot be used. I tried using the palette 5.0 reader writer box that came with the esante to load a pattern through my pe basic and it said it loaded it fine....put it into the esante ese2 and it says card cannot be used. What am I doing wrong? I have win 8 and a disk here the lady gave me with palette 5.0 that came with it....also have a disk given to her by the dealer she got the machine from that is the update and 5.61 and another one that is the full palette 5.6 and it says full version....I cannot seem to find that this is usable with windows 8 and cannot understand why a disk that my ellageo can read my esante cannot read. Please help!!!!!
In the software you have to go to "Options" and adjust the "Design Page Property". If it is set to a size larger than what your machine is capable of stitching, the machine will not be able to read the card.
That setting has little to do with the size of the embroidery you are saving, it is more to do with telling the machine how big a hoop the design will be using.
That's why one machine reads the card but not the other machine (hoop size capability).

I had the same problem and after buying a new card, found out that you get that message if the pattern you are trying to transfer is too big. reduce the size of the pattern and see if that works
