Good Morning Rob, I would like to help you with your post but need a little more information. If you could, please elaborate about what concern you are experiencing with your washer. Can you remember any error codes or odd functions prior to this issue? If you can think of anything in particular, please feel free to reconnect and maybe it's something that I can help troubleshoot. Best Regards,

Sounds like a bad thermostat that shuts the heat on and off at a certain temp.

The wiring diagram for the washer is inside the cabinet, all come with one no matter the brand. It is most often inside the control panel cabinet.

Getting extremely hot

It sounds like the thermostat is not working properly. Please get the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine. Then contact customer service with this information. If your brewer is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced at no cost. If it is over 3 years old, then it will be replaced at a reduced cost.

Code 49 and Manual Book

Fault 49 usually points to the cold inlet valve. I have come across many with this fault that the valve tests ok and it needs the motor controller replaced.
