Dear Dorothy
Make certain that you have written the password correctly. It happens that the wrong key is touched.

Ran out of paper in my password journal

Do yourself a favor. Go download Keepass. Keepass is an encrypted database that you can keep all your passwords in. Keep it all digitally, and then if you ever need it on paper, you can print it out. - http://keepass.info/

Did you find an answer to your question? I have a similar problem...very low batteries. I called customer service and they were zero help. Told me to go to store for help.

Justice password journal low batteries

I used a set of cutting pliers and lifted the back two rivets off. Then i gently peeled the paper up and slid a knife under the strap that was glued down. Replaced the batteries, put the rivets back in and used a small screw driver to mesh the strap back on the rivets. Lightly re-glued the strap and scotch taped the paper back on. Back in business, made one girl happy!

I like to know where I can find a replacement for the actual journal that is in the Girltech Password Journal and how do I take it out

You should be able to just pull the journal out and replace it. And any journal can be used as long as you still have the pen and the device itself.

Mu brake caliper barrel will not retract

The easiest way to do this is to keep the old pad on the caliper and use a C-Clamp with one end on the pad and one end on the caliper. The pressure from twisting the clamp should break it free and allow it to retract. If you've tried that and it remains "frozen" in place then you'll need a new caliper.

Paper

Hi. The PCR-T470 is only a single roll machine, so if you had them printing at the same time, you would be handing the customer your journal when you gave them their receipt. This machine can be setup either as journal only (in which case you use the black takeup reel that sits inside the printer housing), or receipt mode (in which case you have the paper coming out of the front of the printer cover). The best thing about single roll machines is that when you have them in recipt mode (recommended), you can print the journal out of memory whenever you want. to do this, turn the key to X mode and press RC button until you see 'electronic journal', then press CASH to print it. you might be able to reset the journal by doing the procedure in Z mode (the manual isn't clear about this). Give it a try.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more trouble.

Error Code 406

"XMT/RCV password does not match. Last 4 digits of TSI does not match with the last 4 digits of the ONE TOUCH, ABBR Telephone number." This is straight from the Panasonic service manual. I would suggest looking in the User's manual uner "passwords" and try to either reset or clear out the password info.
