Dears,
I have an old Zebra S500 (Model: S500-221-0000) printer and It was working fine. I bought a new Dell Vostro 200 computer and a USB to Parallel adapter but I cannot find the drivers for the S500.
I installed the S600 drivers but the Zebra S500 doesn't print showing an "Error-Printing".
How can I configure the Zebra S500 with my new computer using the USB Port?
Thank you in advance for your help!
LC
The Zebra Stripe S500 has a RS-232 SERIAL interface using a DB-25 connector . You'll need a USB to SERIAL converter, not parallel. Be sure that the baud rate and data/stop bits are set the same on the printer and interface converter. Generally speaking, use the fastest setting possible (19200 baud) unless you encounter problems.
