Going over you manual for the tv, it doesn't have a digital tuner.
You'll need a digital converter box for broadcast channels.
Indoor antenna will work. But, an outdoor antenna will work best for reception.
If you need a copy of your manual, you can download one with this link:

How do ihook up a digital antenna to my tv

Dominic, you do not state whether you want large outdoor antenna or simple indoor.
If you bought your HDTV anytime during the past 8 years or so, it should have a built-in tuner for receiving digital over-the-air broadcasts. If you have an older "HDTV-ready" TV that only receives analog signals, you'll need to connect it to a separate HDTV tuner.
link below tells how to install outdoor digital TV antenna.

How to install indoor digital tv antenna to a lcd tv & pickup digi channels

First, the LCD TV has to have a digital tuner in it. Older ones may not. If it does, then you attach the antenna connector to the TV connection that is marked TV IN or CABLE. Then, in the TV's menu, you would need to ensure that the digital tuner is selected. Once that is done, then, still in the menu, perform an "ON AIR" channel scan to find and lock in whatever digital channels that the antenna can detect.

How do I hook an antenna to my tv

Hi Dwayne,

The Proton has an NTSC analog tuner and also an ATSC digital tuner. Have you tried switching or changing the SOURCE inputs?
You may also have to use the scan button to have the tuner "find" the channels for you once you determine that you have selected the correct source for the antenna.
See page 9 of the manual.

32 inch sharp aquos can't find any channels with rca amplified indoor antenna

That could be because the antenna is pointing in the wrong direction, or it's just not getting enough signal where it is in your home.

Have a look at neighbours antennae. See the direction they are pointing. Point yours in the same direction too.

Other causes: you are trying to tune the analog tuner rather than the digital tuner.

I have an older Sharp Aquos TV - model # LC-32G4U. I am trying to connect a digital antenna but it doesn't work. Anyone know if I need a separate digital tuner for this TV? Or what else might be t

There is no difference between a "digital" and analog antenna. Either antenna will capture the signal. What you need is a digital converter box to convert the over air digital signal to the older analog type signal your TV needs. You connect the antenna to the digital converter box, and the digital converter box to the TV.
Several years ago, the US government forced peopel to buy digital converter boxes or newer TVs that could pick up the digital signal. Either get a digital converter box or a new TV.

Why can't I get reception on my TruTech tv model DW19TT even after plugging in a Phillips digital indoor tv antenna

If the antenna is working and you are not receiving a signal, then you could have a bad tuner, use a tuner from a VCR , connect the ant to the VCR and go from the VCR with Video cables and go to the Video input on the TV and put your TV in Video mode. That will work.

How can i install an indoor antenna to my tv? its no signal coming up i have a rca antenna. will that work?

Your TV has to have a digital tuner. If you get to the input for digital tuner it will display the channels with decimal points 2.1, 2.2, etc. If you do not see that you have an analog tuner or cable ready.
Try changing the inputs until you get digital channels. If not, go to the store and purchase digital converter box...40 bucks

I cann;t receive several network channels on my Dynex 26: L150A11 LCD TV using only an antenna (no converter box). Does this TV have a built-in digital tuner? Do I need to use anything else to connect ?

Hi,
all new tvs should have a built in digital tuner. Make sure that tv is set to receive antenna signal and not cable by going into the menu. Use autoprogram feature if you haven't done so already. it will lock onto whatever signal is strong enough for it to see. Also if you are using an indoor antenna it may not be able to get enough signal to the box. Indoor antennas are not the greatest especially if the station is far away.

Mitsubishi vs-50603 does'nt get regular antenna chanels.

Indoor antennas have very limited capabilities especially in areas with elevation changes and heavy tree cover. Ideally, you should put an outdoor antenna on your roof or the highest elevation you can find with a relatively short distance to the TV. Make sure it has a good UHF section as this is where all digital broadcasts will be sent by the broadcasters as the digital transition occurs. You might try an amplified indoor antenna for better results than what you have now, but its no substitute for an outdoor antenna.
