After pot of coffee is brewed, the water in the reservoir seems to be overheating. It hisses and continues to come out of the sprayer, and there is a lot of steam coming from where I pour the water in. ...

This sounds like you need the thermostat replaced. Call bunn at 1 800 263 2256 and talk with parts. You need part number 35286.7000. On a VPS the thermostat is in the top of unit. Take the lid off and you will see it. It has a black dial and a silver probe wire coming from it to the top of the tank. It is fairly easy to remove and replace. Unplug the machine first. Unscrew the screw holding the old thermostat in. Then unhook the two wires from it. Take the rubber grommet out of the top of the tank and remove the thermostat and probe(the part that sits in tank) Put new thermostat in. Make sure the new rubber grommet is set at the red mark on the probe wire and then set the bulb into tank. Attach the two wires back onto the new thermostat(does not matter which wire goes where) and secure the new thermostat with the one screw. Make sure the black dial is turned all the way to the left and close the lid. Plug machine back in and wait for it to heat up again. If the water does not heat up enough turn the black dial all the way to the right.

Not sure need a diagram for payne 2 ton or 21/2 ton yac108c. The service techs tore it off need it to install a blow motor.

Actually you can change it without the diagram. Simply cut the wires on the motor and leave the terminal ends attached to both the contactor terminals, and possibly the cpacitor if present. Then install your new fan motor replacing the leads from the old one with the leads from the new one.

But if the new motor has different colored leads, usually the brown leads are attached to the capacitor (it doesn't matter which terminal the leads go to, as long as there are only two leads and it is just the fan's capacitor). And then attach the other two leads to where the other two old leads are. (Naturally removing or swapping new wires to where old ones were.)

Replacing broken gaslines... were do they go?

the primer bulb draws gas through the carb 'C' and back to the tank'T' leaving a small amount of fresh gas in the replace the lines from filter to carb & bulb to tank, you may have to remove handle & split the housing halves to find where lines enter tank.look in tank W/ a replace lines cut new line on an angle, feed a piece of # 14 copper wire through hole from inside tank.slide new line over wire, the wire will help align fuel line with hole.use needle-nose pliers to push line into tank,& to pull it through once you can see it.cut off end of hose you beat up with pliers.push filter on hose to carb.drop it back in tank."T' line is the return.dosn't matter which line is through top or bottom hole.

E173FPc LCD Repair

The color of the wires doesn't matter. That's just insulation. If you are able to see the screen then your backlights are working, which is what the wires you refer to are powering. The distortion is either because your new board actually does have a problem, or because when you attached the ribbon cables, you didn't get them on quite right. Try removing and reseating them.

Hotpoint wm63 door locked

The door lock has failed in the locked mode, only way to open door is to force it open.
Remove top cover, screws at rear , slide cover back away from you.
Down at the front right side you will see the lock, it is reddish brown in colour, with 3 wires attached.
Force a long handled screwdriver or similar between lock and cabinet front, and force the lock, you may have to break it, but it does not matter as it is faulty anyway.. The door will then open.
Remove the 2 screws holding the rest of the lock , and pull up with wires still attached, .
Transfer wires to new lock on the same connectios, and refit.
Test it, if it still does not work then you may have to fit a new door latch and or spring.
Plz rate this solution and if you have any further probs, plz let me know.

Frigidaire FEQ332ESO electric dryer: No Heat

If im looking at my papers right, this unit is a stacker, correct? The element is directly behind the drum on Frigidaire units. You can I believe remove the top, then remove the front cover by removing two screws on the inside the hold it to the cabinet. I believe the element and thermal fuse should be able to be tested from the top. After you remove the top, the wiring should be on the right rear side. The thermal fuse is round, and has two wires going to it. It can be located on the element housing itself, or on the rear bulkhead. To test this fuse, you will need a meter that reads continuity (ohms). Just attach the leads and see if you get a reading (be sure to remove one of the wires). The element wiring should also be in the element housing. You will see the wires coming off the top (all by themselves, not attached to a thermostat). Testing will be the same way. If you have to replace the element you will need some help more than likely. The drums in Frigidaires pop out. You will have to remove the belt, then (with towels wrapped around your hands to keep all your skin) lift the rear of the drum up to pop it out of the bearing holder (like a ball joint). Then you just unscrew the element, and replace. Its not uncommon anymore for anything to break on these new units, in fact, 90% of my business is in warranty call, usually within 3 months of purchase. Sorry, but would rather be truthful than blow smoke. Good luck, and let me know if there is any other questions you may have.
