Question about Teac AG-980 4 Channels Receiver
When I switched my TEAC AG-980 on a small bang came from the rear. Now the amp will not switch on. The standby light is on which rules out the fuse. When I switch it on either through the remote or the unit itself it appears to work as AUX or TUNER is displayed however after about 2 or 3 seconds it clicks back into standby. Any ideas what is wrong?
Probably an electrolytic capacitor blew... should be obvious if you remove the case. The tops blow off or split... may leave residue.
