I need my wifi to has never been set up

Connect your computer directly to the router via the Ethernet cable. Turn your computer on and make sure your router is also powered up. type in your URL bar, a screen will pop up asking for log in credentials. Your default user name is admin and password is password. After youved logged in go to wifi settings and create a network name and password.

I would try connecting a network cable to the TV and router directly. Sometimes the WiFi connection can be limited by interference or the conversion process. I personally for fixed devices use a direct physical connection and WiFi only for true mobile devices.

Dear sir i want to use my netgear wgr614 router as access point. please give me suggestion how can i do that

In Your web browser type in,it will ask you for a user name and password, user name is admin and password is password, once you enter the netgear setup utility find the section that ask you if you would like to use as an access point, check it,save changes-you will have to download the user manual on detailed step by step instructions from netgears website in order for it to work-i would download the user manual before you do anything at all and read first what has to be done-Good Luck-Access points are not easy to configure and must be connected via an ethernet cable when doing the initial setup-Have Fun

Netgear WGR614 router with USB Cable Modem

When working with routers, CAT-5 cables are the more usual cable used. Your modem's Ethernet Port --- connect it via cable to the router's WAN input. Connect one of the router's LAN outputs to your computer's LAN input with another CAT-5 cable. Go through the appropriate Router Setup by putting into your Internet Explorer, with ' admin ' for User Name, and no password (just press Enter in Password frame). Once you are in to the router setup, you can select your Network Name (SSID) and then implement whatever Security you might want to use. You should be up and running by now, nhave lots of fun!
