Check the main cooling fan (fm1) in the rear center of the copier. is it running? if not see if it is plugged in. I had a kid stick a sucker stick in the fan causing the same problem.

Title : E020 Error Code
When you have followed all the steps from the troubleshooting guide in the Service Manual and still have not resolved the issue, here are some possible areas that might be related.
1) Confirm that the toner and hopper sensors are being wiped completely.
2) Check the Gear Train on the hopper assy it may be locked up.
3) A possible bad hopper unit cable. FG5-5016-000. See The Parts Catalog page 620-2 item # 60.

Your machine appears to think it's waiting for a file (like an update). Somehow it was put into download mode (only a canon tech would know how to). You need to have a canon technician to either reset the machine or if there is a legitimate problem put it into factory default.
It may be a hard drive error from my experience.

if you are changing the machine room from cold to warm, it can causes the error code E100, it's a condensation of the laser sensor. to solve this problem you need change the laser sensor PCB or the laser unit. or try to warm up the pcb sensor with a hot air. look at the picture to identify the laser sensor:

The error E007 code means that the fusing film is worn out or damaged. Worn out is self explanatory, Damage will generally happens when a jam is cleared incorrectly (forcibly or by sticking something like a butter knife into the machine "Do not laugh, I have seen it!"), You will need to most likely have the fusing film replaced. This is beyond most users, you are probably going to have to get a service center to repair it.
Sorry, but I hope this helps
