SOURCE: scanning monochrome negatives on Coolscan 5000ED

Your killing yourself how big are you going to print this!!! Are you using Vuescan or silverfast for scanning or Nikons util? Stay away from Nikons utility! 2x sample is plenty and turn off ICE for monochrome (it makes a mess of things) but 16 bit yes until you print then go down to 8 after you resize for final print.

SOURCE: Pls tell me what range

One possible cause would be the player. Their is a chance that the DVD player do not support the version of your AVI. Try to use Total Video Converter, this is what i use when i cannot play a video on our LCD TV. Hope it helps thanks.

I am recording voice over work in my home studio. I am using a behringer mixer "new" with usb interface, a new NT-1 Rode mic, into a lap top with audacity installed. I am getting clicks, tall single

Sounds like a clock or bit depth issue. Verify what sampling rate and bit depth is coming from the USB interface, and make sure the laptop/Audacity is set for the same.

I plugged my Logitech Z623 (110V) into a 220V output. Made a 'pop' noise and now it doesn't work. What parts need replacing and how would I do this?

Take unit apart an look at power supply. It could be just the solid state fuse popped. Power supplys are not hared to repair, the diodes are about .50 a piece, the caps about $1 a piece or so. Hopefully ot did not reach the speaker, an i doubt it did.

I have just bought Logitech Z623 Speakers and connected with my computer. All Speakers work fine upto certain Volume and Bass level but One of the satellite Speaker ( Mostly Speaker with Volume/Bass...

try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty or
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
other than that you might have a warranty issue
hope this helps

Music files such as mp3 wma etc etc work , but the ones with a bit rate of 64 do not. Is This normal or can it be resolved??

hie dear,
the standard mp3 song is:
bit rate = 128kbps
channels = stereo
audio sample rate = 44100 khz

reducing bit or sample rate means compressing the song, although it can be played on max of handsets.

bt u can use the mp3 converter softwares to increase or reduce the bit or sample rate to make the bit/ sample rate standard.

Krackling sound with logitech clearchat wireless at 44khz

Bandwidth sounds logical, so check if your USB ports are configured as USB 2.0 and not USB 1.1 (which is slower).
Apart from that, it could really be a driver compatibility issue. The driver architecture in Vista is different from XP, so even if the driver is accepted, it does not mean it provides the same performance and quality. Best if you can get real Vista (signed) drivers.

Oh wow dude,

it sounds like your bit rate and sample rate are out of whack. You should shoot an email to tech support cuz this is gonna need some more in-depth help than i can really get into here. But check your bit depth and sample rate first. They may be out of sync
