You didnt provide the type of safe but on mine the bottom of the keypad lock mechanism has a compartment for the battery. Mine doesnt need to be opened to change the battery. If your has a compartment if you push on it it will pop open then you just change the battery.
Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this solution post. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist you. You are having problems because you calculator won't turn on. I think you should try changing the batteries. Did you know that your calculator has two batteries powering it? Not only are the 4 AAA batteries powering it, but there is also a CR 3V Lithium Back Up battery powering it as well. First, try changing the 4 AAA batteries. If that still does not power your calculator properly, you will need to replace the lithium back up battery. You can find this at a department store or store that carries electronics. To do this, open your regular battery compartment. Above the AAA batteries is a compartment that says "BACK UP BATTERY CR1616 OR CR1620" with a picture of it. Use a small crosshead screwdriver to open the compartment. Take the old battery out and replace it with the new one. Rescrew the lithium battery compartment back on and close the AAA battery compartment. Turn on your calculator and see if that works. I hope this solution solves this.
If you have the Energizer Hard Case Lantern TUF4D1, simply
grasp the whole front of the lamp piece (including the rubber cover), and
twist in a counter-clockwise direction to remove. Then squeeze
together the two black tabs and pull the battery compartment out to
replace the batteries.
Your battery compartment is more than likely located in the back of the unit underneath the mounting bracket. You need to remove the mounting bracket in order to gain access to the battery compartment. You can find your manual here: http://phone.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/ge_appliances/ge_29897ge1_29897ge1.html But it doesn't have any reference to your battery compartment for your phone. That I could find anyway.
4.Battery Installation Battery Compartment Cover 1)Grip the front of the mouse (the end with the buttons) with your left hand. 2)With your right hand hold the back of the mouse (end opposite the buttons) with your thumb on the bottom, and your index finger and middle finger resting on top. 3)Grip the mouse firmly, pressing down slightly on the GE logo on top of the mouse with the index and middle finger of your right hand, then pull back to release the battery cover. 4)Set the battery compartment cover aside. Insert 2 AAA batteries, being sure to match the polarity of the batteries with the polarity markings inside the battery compartment. 5)Replace the battery compartment cover. 6)Re-link your mouse.
The solution is to change the small 'date/time' battery. You can have the regular batteries as charged as you like, it won't make any difference. The tiny date/time battery is in the same compartment as the regular batteries, on the opposite side of the hinge. Extract it with a fingernail, it is situated on the left hand wall of the battery compartment (when the camera is inverted and the compartment open).
I'm having the same problem with my DSC-W1 camera. I dropped my camera and the battery door latches broke.
I found a replacement door on Ebay for $9.95
I followed the instructions in the description and easily removed the broken door from my camera. Now i'm just waiting on the new door to arrive so I could slide the new door in.
I hope this was helpful.
Here's the seller I bought the door from. Hopefully the seller has more doors. =) :
