Casio Remote will not work with NEW batteries. (by 4 users)

the plug on the side of telly is for a cable remote which you can buy but these are pretty useless it sounds like the controll has got damp or has got greay if you think you can take the controll apart without damaging it then i sugest take the case off and clean behind the buttons this is usually the problem wipe the pads on the buttons then get some cloth that is clean then wipe over the circuit check for water damage then put it back together if this dont still work then you will need new controll as the originall are expensive to buy the best thing to do is buy an all in one remote this should solve your problem hope this is some help for you...........................
