Question about Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray Player
I've been trying to play the Kingdom of Heaven Director's cut blu-ray disk but the sound and video keep skipping/pausing every few seconds to the point where it is really unwatchable. The disk itself has no scratches and is perfectly clean, the firmware is up-to-date, and the player had no problems with the last disk I played (which I have also put back in to test since this problem started happening).
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

The most common problem with blu-ray discs in blu-ray players like the BDP-S300 seems to be related to firmware issues. You can download the latest firmware from the Sony website here. Once burned to a disc on your computer you load the disc into the blu-ray player to update it.
I hope that helps.

My guess is that the player may need to be cleaned, there is a cleaning kit that can be purchased at an electronics specialty store or retailer such as Wal Mart, if the kit does not correct the problem then you should have the unit checked and repaired or replaced - the unit may be defective. Good luck to you!
