Ca i believe means that you have an overcurrent problem with your motor control board. you either can have a blown fuse on the motor board or your ujoint is seizing up causeing it to think so. take to consol off and look at the board to the (if you where to be faceing the washer it would be the board to the left, if you where to be standing behind the washer it would be to the right.) So find the fuse on that board and check continuity you more than likley need that motor board. let me know if you have any more questions

The error code in the problem statement indicates that the printhead has failed due to overheating. When this occurs, the printer "remembers" the condition, and will not operate until the printhead has been replaced by a technician who knows the service codes to reset the error condition and inform the printer that it has a new printhead.

CA error code on Calypso Washer

CA Cl Average current limit Or Instantaneous current limit If a status signal comes back from the motor controller that a current limit has been breached, the unit will return to standby mode and display either CA for average current limit trip or Cl for instantaneous current limit trip. Average current trip occurs if there is a 2 second average of current draw greater than 5.55 amps at the motor windings. Instantaneous current trip occurs if there is a spike of 26 amps instantly at the motor windings. This may signify problems with the drive motor, thermal protector, or motor controller. Over-loading the unit may cause this problem.

Meaning you had stuffed it full one time and then it was hard on the motor, you will have to change the drive motor most likely...

Hit the yellow botton ( Reset/ CA), then 1 then 0 then7 , then hold down the (Stop) botton till the display changes... Then turn the copier "OFF" then "ON" it may clear the code. The code has to do with your fixing unit.

I'm in Australia and only going on the program manual for your area, it states that canadian tax is tax on tax? if this is true then you probably entered a code for add on or add in tax and thereby changed it all.

you need the following

tax table address
1 125
2 225
3 325
4 425

rounding off codes
rounding off to 2 decimal places is 50
rounding up to 2 decimal places is 90
cut off to 2 decimal places is 00

tax system code
tax table with out tax rate 01
tax table with tax rate and add on rate 02
add in tax rate 03
Canadian tax-on-tax rate 04

starting point
to get the starting point you multiply by 100 and subtract 1
eg 50 cents = 0.50 X 100 - 1 = 50 - 1 = 49
eg $4 = 4.00 x 100 -1 = 399

to program the tables go through these steps

go to program 3
tax table address eg 125
subtotal
tax rate
ca/amt tend
starting point eg 0.50 = 49
ca/amt tend
rounding eg 50
tax system eg 04
ca/amt tend
ca/amt tend

here you have 2 choices,

press ca/amt tend to go to the next tax table ie 225 and start over by entering the tax rate and go through the procedure again

or

press subtotal to finalise the tax table you are on

Hope this helps,

Adam
