Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have this voice recorder but I have a mac, is there anything I can do?? I've had it for years and never transferred the original recordings from the recorder. Even if there is a Mac program that I can open the files up with? I'm desperate!
What format is the recorder in mp3? it should copy over with no problem. can your mac recognize the player? try disc utilities

Testimonial: "Yes it's a JNC Digital Recorder. The CD it came with is Power Voice II, it doesn't open and just ejects itself when I put it in. Connecting the Recorder using the USB chord has no result on the Mac, it isn't even appearing in Disk Utility. If I attach using the audio chord how do I record what is playing on the recorder?"
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

There is a quick fix for this. As long as your laptop has a microphone input, you can use a male-male 3.5mm audio cable, plug it into your recorder and your laptop/PC, and record the recording off the digital recorder. Yes, time consuming, but the JNC website (based in South Africa) does not have drivers. I have had to do this to continue to use my recorder.
