best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Internet Explorer cannot display web page

a couple things I've seen
- first the address as posted is invalid (can't find) but if you insert a dot (.) between parents and brickshools then it finds it (http://parents.brickshools.org/)

- if the corrected address is correct it looks like the site is redirected to a secure connection (https vs. http) and then the problem is that the site owner's security certificate has several problems as follows:

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority. The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. these issues were presented to me by Internet Explorer v7.0 - the main address functions (http://brickschools.org/) so it definitely seems to be a security certificate issue on their end. I would speak with the site owner. btw, I'm coincidentally in Toms River :)

I am tired of losing my Facebook page can you please fix

No we can't. We are Fixya, not Facebook.

You could however describe what you mean by 'losing my Facebook'. I have been using Facebook on a daily basis, multiple times for over 10 years and have never 'lost it', it is always where I left it.

And I am one of the resident Facebook Experts. I run 3 pages on iPhone, laptop and computer.

How do I keep someone on Facebook from accessing all of my photos on my phone, tablet, or computer?

In the Facebook settings, you can add persons to your circles (and kick them out) The circles have different importance, like family, friends, and others you know. You can setup your account, so only family can see everything and friends can see a little less and others even less. What you allow to see depends on the settings in your account. But it is not possible they can see what is on your computer, unless you did add that to Facebook.
Better not add all your pictures to Facebook. keep the private ones in folders outside Facebook. Don't grand access to all your pictures on any of the devices.
You almost can get a degree in setting up Facebook, but the safest way to start (sorry it looks you already are on Facebook some time) is to keep everything outside Facebook. Don't grand it access to folders on your devices. Just type the things you want others to hare with you and only put pictures in Facebook you want to show. Slowly accept other people. And when you don't want someone to your circles just remove the person from your settings.
Facebook has great support and you can find everything on their help page. Study one thing at a time and make sure you understand the part you want to use. That includes, how to remove things and persons from your timeline.

I can't login to my facebook account , the internet exployer says that this web page cannot be accessed

Facebook has become an integral part of many people's daily lives by keeping them connected to friends and family, which can make not being able to get on the site quite frustrating. Facebook does experience occasional downtime and other issues, but if you're consistently having problems accessing it, a browsing filter, firewall or outdated software could be the culprit.

Browser Requirements:

You may have problems accessing Facebook if you haven't upgraded your Internet browser in awhile. As of 2011, Facebook recommends using Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 or Safari 4 for the best user experience. Updates to these browsers are free and can be found at the companies' websites. Some older computers may not be able to run the latest browser version and, therefore, have trouble displaying Facebook and other sites correctly.

Home Blocks:
Home computers also have tools to block certain websites; parents often install them to keep kids' Web activity under control. If this is your situation, you will have to talk to Mom and Dad about unblocking Facebook for you. If you have a PC with multiple user accounts, the "admin" is often the only account with permission to install or uninstall filtering software and extensions; you'll need to be logged into this account to change a filter's settings
.
Firewalls:

Many computers and their antivirus programs now enable firewalls by default. Firewalls help protect your computer from malicious viruses and software, but sometimes they block access to sites you legitimately want to access. If you suspect your firewall is limiting your Facebook access, check the settings in Windows' Control Panel or in the program that enables the firewall, such as your antivirus software or wireless router software. Making the settings more permissible could solve the problem.

I hope you find it very helpful.
Thank you for choosing fixya.

Hi,

To access you Facebook page, you will have to log out of the Facebook account of the person who last accessed Facebook on this computer.

To do this, kindly click the "Account" tab at the top-right of the Facebook page and select "Logout" from the drop-down menu. (See attached image)

How to put pictures on facebook

Though Facebook is a very popular social networking site, it is definitely not one of the easiest sites to use! Although Facebook is feature rich, the user interface can be fairly complicated. Do not worry, here is the most straight forward way to upload photos to Facebook.
  1. Login to your Facebook account, and from the top navigation menu select "Profile", this should take you to your profile page. Facebook Navigation camera.gif
  2. Below your status message you will notice a series of tabs, click on the tab that says "Photos". Profile page tabs camera.gif.
  3. You should see a button to your right which says "Create a Photo Album" (Facebook Image Album camera.gif), click on it and you're on your way to upload and share your fabulous pictures with friends and family. Remember the pictures are controlled by the Privacy or Sharing settings that controls who can and cannot see your images.
  4. Uploading photos to your album is easy from the image upload screen camera.gif that comes up.
Yet another shortcut for posting images on Facebook is as follows:
  1. Once you're logged into Facebook, see the Status message box and right below it is the attach tab with options for attaching photos, videos and more. Status Message Posting options camera.gif.
  2. Now, click on the Photo button. You'll get a drop-down menu to upload your photo if you're looking to upload a single image as well as an option to upload a new album. Click on your choice and you're ready to share your images with the world of Facebook users. Attach Options camera.gif.
Exporting Pictures from Applications Facebook also provides you with the ability to upload images directly from various imaging and image management applications. This makes things easier for sophisticated users who use special software to store and catalog their images, since the workflow becomes much easier to handle.

Someone used my computer to access her Facebook Home Page and now I cannot access my home page. I have my home page saved in Favorites and everytime I try to access it, her home page comes up and I can't...

Top right corner, click on "Account". Select "Logout" from the dropdown menu. This returns you to the Signup screen. At the top of the screen, you should see her email and her password dots. Replace them with yours, tick the "Keep me logged in " box, hit "Login", and you're off!

I lost my facebook when I tried to log on with my password. Help

As long as you have your email account, you should be able to log in to FB (use your original message from Facebook if nothing else works. Link can be found from your email by searching Facebook...the first two messages from them).

Knowing that one account is dying, it's time to go to Facebook setting on top right corner and choose ACCOUNT SETTINGS - there you find all options from changing email address to password etc...

I have lost all pictures of everything on my FB pages. Help!

Sometimes the site making changes makes pictures and other media disappear from your page, like your Wall for example. Recently Facebook has redone the home page and other site features. This may just be something to wait out and the pictures will reappear.
