SOURCE: need help setting the telescope

None of these come with a manual-- the weight counter balances the tube---

Check out these web sites for pictures which will help you assemble the telescope--

Motor mount passenger side rusted out

Sounds like you need to get that replaced. If the metal that the mount is attached to is also rusted you need to get to a fabricator or body shop to have that replaced too.

How do you replace the upper shock absorber tower on a fj62 ?

You will need to grind the rivets out and remove the old mount, you can use one of 3 methods to attach a replacement.
1. Drill out the holes, get captive nuts welded into the chassis rail and use high tensile bolts to attach the mount.
2. Find someone with the correct equipment to re-rivet the mount
3. Weld the mount on, This may or may not be possible depending on the vehicle regulations in your area.

I have Galileo G-5LTME Telescope. The tube keeps drifting downward regardless of what I do. Everything seems to be fine with the EQ mount (appears to be an Astro 3 mount).

This is typical issue with these low cost EQ mounts. They are not strong enough to hold the tube.If you can balance the tube better this may help, but there is nothing really you can do to an EQ1 mount that will make it useable for Astronomy. Sorry.

Trying to R & R the serpentine belt on a 1999 Olds Delta 88. The belt is routed arond a motor mount. Do I have to jack the motor and disconnect it from the motor mount in order to remove and replace...

yes you do. place a floor jack under engine with a block of wood on top of jack to protect the engine, put just enough pressure on jack to steady engine. remove motor mount, then jack up engine a bit to take belt off. replace the belt then lower jack and attach the mount. on the mount only the outside bolts need to come off to raise engine. do not remove from engine side unless you are changing it or its bad, be carefull when raising engine, pick it up from a sturdy place, not the oil pan. have a good day !!

What's the easiest way to replace a front/top cracked motor mount bracket on a 1999 chevy malibu

u will need a floor jack, block of wood, assorted tools, and a torque wrench Turn off the engine and disconnect the negative battery cable. Gain full access to the engine mount. Support the engine oil pan using a jack and a block of wood. Remove the bolt that holds the engine mount to the frame. Lift the engine and mount off of the frame using the jack. Once raised, remove the bolt that holds the mount to the engine. Remove the engine mount.
Attach the new engine mount to the engine with the original bolt. Lower the engine. Attach the engine mount to the frame. Tighten all mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specifications. Reconnect any components that may have been removed. Test drive the vehicle to verify the repair.

I have a scope Galileo 1000mm focal can you buya camera 1in, and mount it in the eye piece. also a star tracker.? This thing is a real pos also need a gear box servo drive.

It's not worth buying all those accessories for that 80mm scope. They would cost several times MORE than what you paid for it.

Front shocks/struts not attached at top mount, rusted away needs to be replaced, how to replace upper strut mounts 2001 sebring convertible

you will need to get spring compressors to do the job and if they rusted away chances are the strut shaft nut is rusted too and will need heat from a torch or a powerful air tool to remove it . but if you want to try it first you jack the car and remove the wheel.then unbolt the two large bolts that hold it to the knukle at the bottom, brake hose might be attached to it also remove it .then unbolt the four bolts at the top that hold it and remove the strut. now you will need a strut compressor to squeeze the spring so that the mount is free of pressure from the spring, replace it with the new one careful to install the spring into the seat just like it was.reverse install

If just the rubbers in the engine mounts are bad, could just the rubber pack be replaced ?.

You have to replace the whole mount. They aren't that expensive. I suppose you could replace just the rubber, but they don't sell them that way.

Motor mount bracket attached to engine looks like a spacer broke and cant find a name or replacement

The motor mount really has no specific name other than motor mount. Its the location of the mount that determines the part that you need. Just call and parts store and tell them the location of the mount and they will usually be able to match something up for you.
