We need to enable bluetooth and then we need to make the bluetooth your laptop and the other bluetooth device discoverable.
Now you will have to pair these devices and after pairing the devices and establishing the connection between the two devices, you will able to transfer files from one bluetooth device to another bluetooth device provided both of them are in less than 5 meter range.
You may try the steps in the below link:
If you have any trouble connecting to bluetooth, follow the steps in the below link:

Most computers already have a blue tooth application in your OS. All you have to do is enable bluetooth devices and call them!

First of course, you need your dongle in the USB. After that you have to find the blue tooth program and here's how (if it doesn't auto detect it)

Click start, go to Control Panel. Go to Hardware and Sounds. Click on BlueTooth then follow the instructions :)

Hi there, I have a Nokia 6300 and my cars is Toyota Corolla Conquest, 2010 (face lift), Auto. Now the problem that I am constantly facing is when ever I am connecting my phone with my car it works pretty...

Your issue is one of range.
The blutooth connection to your phone has a limited range.
Mostly, that range is about one metre and stepping out of your car takes you out of that range.
Also, the metal of the car will also interfere with the blutooth signal.
So, make sure you turn on the ring tone on your phone when you leave the car as some phones switch this off when blutooth connected.
You may have to turn blutooth off on your phone for the ring tones to switch back on..

Dear sir/madam I am Dhivya. . . In my acer 5738 the blutooth is not working properly, it is not discovered by any other blutooth devices. I tried installing the software again and again from the driver cd...

dear Dhivya,
usually it will be hidden from discovery.
right click the bluetooth icon and select open settings. select "allow blue tooth devices to discover this computer " and click ok/apply. your problem should be solved now.
