The power switch connects to the PWR PT pins. The speaker hooks to the SPEAK pins (only the outer pins actually used). The HDD LED connector hooks to the HLED pins. There is usually one red and one white wire. The RED wire goes to the "+" pin. The power LED wires hook to the PLED Pins. There is usually a green and a white wire. The GREEN sire goes to the "+" pin. The GLED pins are for the SLEEP switch if you case has one. The RST pins are for the RESET switch wires (if your case has one). Hope that helps
No diagram available, but wiring is as follows: PPL/BLU wire connects power from FUSE 21 in the interior fuse panel; Pin 1 - WHT/PPL to RF window switch; Pin 2 - YEL/PPL to RF window switch; Pin 3 - WHT to RR window switch; Pin 4 - YEL to RR window switch; Pin 5 - N/C; Pin 6 - WHT to LF window motor; Pin 7 - YEL/GRN to one touch down window relay; Pin 8 - WHT/BLU to LR window switch; Pin 9 - YEL/BLU to LR window switch; Pin 10 - ORG/YEL to interior lights system. A second PPL/BLU wire connects the rear cut off switch to the left and right rear window switches.
You will need the user's manual for your machine to make sure that you are hooking the wires up correctly. However, most motherboards label these connections directly on the motherboard next to their pins. Look for an area on the mother motherboard with two rows of six to eight pins. Next to them you should labels such as PWR_SW (power switch), RST_SW (reset switch), HDD_LED, PWR_LED, etc. You won't mess anything up connecting something to the wrong pins, but it isn't that hard to figure out as the wires are usually labeled in the same manner as the pins. So HDD_LED would plug into the HDD_LED pins, PWR_SW to PWR_SW, etc.
Hi Joe. Typically the switch interrupts the hot wire, which is black. Therefore, two black wires are connected to the two screws on the switch. Look in the area where you see the one black wire and you should find a second black wire. Connect each of the to the switch and you will be switching [controlling] the hot [black] wire.
DOES THE SWITCH HAVE 4 REMOVABLE CONNECTION, IF SO THE POWER SUPPLY MAYBE HOOKED UP WRONG, REMOVE ALL WIRES AND CONNECTION FROM THE MOTHERBOARD LEAVE ONLY THE POWER CONNECTION AND THE VEDIO MONITOR CABLE, ADD ONE CONNECTION AT A TIME AND TURN SYSTEM OFF AND ON UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AND I KNOW IT IS ALOT OF WORK THAT WHY YOU PAY SO MUCH FOR A COMPUTER EXPERT TO LOOK AT YOU COMPUTER DESKTOP OR LABTOP.
