SOURCE: Behringer Vintiger GM110 guitar amplifier Output pcb board

You should be able to get a diagram from the company itself and the circuit board can either be purchased from the manufacturer itself or they can tell you who to call.

Here is the manufacturer's number
BEHRINGER USA beusa_t.jpgBEHRINGER USA Inc.
18912 North Creek Parkway, Suite 200
Bothell, WA 98011
Tel.: +1 425 672 0816

you can also try their online support at
http://www.behringer.com/05_support/webform_support.cfm?lang=ENG
but I would just call them, it would be much easier

Let me know if you need any further help or if they couldn't help you and I will let you know who else might have what you need.

good luck

SOURCE: Marshall MG100HDFX Amplifier Head does not turn on

If you connected both speaker outputs of the two heads together you likely destroyed the output transistors of one or both heads. assuming they are solid state. It is unlikely a tube amp would have much damage.

The sequence would be that when you started driving the second unit, the feedback paths within it would fight the attempt to drive backwards and the output transistors would first overheat and then short, This would put a shoirt on the power supply and blow the fuse. The damage would be permanent and would LIKELY NOT include the transformer.

Expect the power transistors, driver transistors, associated resistors to go up in smoke. The unit will have to go to a shop to repair. Probably $30 of parts wholesale, but labor is going to cost you for sure. Expensive mistake.
Refurbing this has to be done carefully to insure all bad parts are replaced as a single bad one left in can blow the whole lot again.

The new Speakon connections avoid some of these mistakes... but not all.

Operate ALL you equipment from a single point source of power to avoid ground loop and faults from causing "common mode" destruction of circuitry.

JL Audio 250/1 blown power trans blown resistors possibly shorted transformer How do I test

You should get the schematic for it. I can tell if your reference to trans is for transistor or transformer. If you mean transistor, in that power circuit they are most likely http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Vishay-Siliconix/IRFZ44PBF/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvARmQSk64rFx%252biHG2Aqv9T. See if you can see any references to the parts on the board. One of the others that fails often is: http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=4kLU8WoGk0vGgdnitUP0Eg%3d%3d and

I Have a Marshall Amp and it had blew a circuit board that attaches to the fan so i replace the fuse and circuit board and now it turns on and registers the guitar cause the lights inside the amp go on...

It is what caused the fuse to pop that concerns me.
You did the correct thing looking for the source of the pop. However seeing any type of winding / coil that looks to have overheated is always a concern.
A small amount of discouloration is acceptable but should always be checked as they can cause much more damage if allowed to overheat and or short.
Many coils / transformers etc can be had off the shelf so to speak so I would start by getting a schematic and seeing if there is a value on it to measure against. or maybe from the coil itself.
test that first !If its OK then check the amplification stages.
Injecting a signal and tracing it is quite often a simple method to find out where the signal ends or is disrupted

I need the schematics for a Marshall MG-10KK guitar amplifier in order to repair it! I'm a good technician but I don't speak english very well... rsrs Thanks!

Most of the problems with the small guitar amps are blown power amp chips. They usually use chips like the TDA2030 which look like a power transistor.
Most other problems involve broken connectors, bad solder joints or cracked circuit boards. The power supply area is so simple one doesn't need a schematic for that part which is usually just three terminal regulators for +/-15 volts. Schematics are often hard to find.
Try this site, although this is a different model, much of the schematic will likely be the same.

Where can I get a schematic of the circuit board for the MG100DFX. The main fuse as blown and I need information on wiring connection to the transformer and values of other components.

Just a hint to troubleshoot: Connect a 100 Watt light bulb in series with the hot side of the power line into the amp. Make a cord with a light socket and a receptacle to plug the amp into. This acts as a resetable fuse and will send enough current through the amp to not fry stuff, but enough to do troubleshooting.

Need Schematices

Try posting on some of the guitar forums. The schematics you are looking for are only available to licensed repair persons but you might get lucky and find someone who will send them to you. Be sure to state what model amplifier you want. If you are a tech try looking at some schematics for a similar amp and tracing the circuit.

Change the voltage from 240v to 120v

Hello,

Unless there is a 240/120 switch on the back, this amplifier cannot change voltage. The only way is to replace the power transformer, and when you do that you need to use the exact model transformer Peavey uses for the 120 version. I have also seen differences in handling power outside of just a different transformer for USA/Euro models.
The differences between these two market models might be beyond what is cost-effective to convert.

If it is the Peavey blazer 158, they go for as cheap as 100 bucks here in the states. Or buy one new for 120.00 bucks and 4.99 shipping: http://www.dcmusicstore.com/Peavey-blazer-158-guitar-amplifier

Best advice: sell it for what ever you can get and buy one here.

Hope this helps!
