Green light on prjector PRM 35 will not stop blinking and the projector will not come on

open the case, and reseat the ribbon cable at both ends.
5 screws on the bottom and 3 screws inside the lamp housing to open the case. Be careful not to break the 2 plastic clips in the back.
Also check the micro switch on the lamp door is working correctly.

Prm35 white dots

The white dots mean that the DLP chip has dead pixels. This can't be repaired by your average Joe or Josephine. The only time I ever "fixed" this problem (I fix these professionally), was when I happened to have another PRM-35 that had a bad power supply board. I was able to take the whole lens assembly (which includes the DLP chip) out of that machine and put it into the one with the little white dots. Check and see if it is still under warranty. If you have some extended plan, maybe you can get it replaced.

I need instructions on how to replace the lamp in the promethean prm-25 projector

Make sure projector is unplugged and cooled down, lamp can be very hot
Remove the cover over lamp area
There are 3 screws in lamp unit (they have little arrows that point to them even) or check against new lamp to make sure you take out the correct ones
Pull straight up, place new lamp in securely and screw back down (screws are attached to each lamp set)
Place cover back over lamp area and screw closed
Reset lamp hours by hooking up your computer to board
Get to lamp reset screen
Press down up left right arrows in sequence then press return button in middle

Where can I find thermal reset switch on my sanyo plc xu115? thanks

the switch should reset itself after it has cooled off, but it is typically near the housing of the bulb to read the temperature accurately.

InFocus LP725 light goes out after 10 minutes

The Projector will turn off after so many hours of running the same bulb module. The counter will turn on a replace bulb LED. Installing the new bulb module should reset the counter and turn off the LED.

Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected
in the lamp module. Make sure by removing it and reinserting it.

Check the cables for problems.

When testing, power up in this order. Projector, Computer monitor, Computer.

A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Turn the
projector off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.

I hope these suggestions help

No power

No Power "Whatsoever"
I Followed all the instructions in aarrowgant post
when I got to the fuse I removed it and checked it with
my ohm meter, and guess what it was not blown!!!
I used a can of gas duster to blow out unit.
I reassembled the projector except for the top of case and
plunged it in "No Power" I disconnected The power
There is however a small thermal switch I Noticed mounted
on the front of the lamp housing only accessible with the case
top off, It has a small red plastic reset button on it. I dusted
this off and pushed it. pluged it back in and the power light came on followed by the projector powering up. I reinstalled the top and mounted projector back on ceiling. Working fine now 48 hrs.
This entire proceeure took me 2 1/2 hours and cost me nothing.
Good Luck,
cyberphx
