Re: My washer will not drian or spin.
It appears your pump has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing. I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information. RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell. In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

F-21 on this washer means long drain which mean s the drain isnt working properly open the lower panel and open the drian sump (might gush water) and make sure that no objects are stuck if you find anything remove it and try the drain and spin option if it does not help or if you dont find anythin replace the drain pump, hope that helps
there maybe something plugging the drain pump.if you have a shopvac attach it to the end of the drain hose, and you should be able to drian the water.if you do not have a shop vac and this unit is a top load machine try and move it out from the wall.and lower the drain hose into a mop bucket or large pan and the water should start to gravity flow out of the tub. if this does not work then there is some thing blocking it.once you have removed the water pop the lid on the machine remove the front panel and take the hoses from the pump you should find your blockage.remeber to check the hose that comes down from the bottom of the tub.
if the front panel is not removeable tilt the washer back and see if you can located the drian pump attache to the front of the motor.it may be a gray plastic piec with two black hose attached to it remove them and take a look.i hope this is helpful. i would like to hear how things went or you.
Check the drain line for kinks or obstructions and check the pump. It isn't just whether the water drained, but how quickly it drained as well. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port. Make sure that nothing is clogging the pump like that occasional stray sock, etc., and check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no broken or missing blades and that the impeller spins freely. If there are any broken/missing blades or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just a clogged drain line, pump, or jammed impeller. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
First, obviously, check that the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Then, remove the hose from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. It sounds nasty, but I generally blow through the hose to check for any clogs. Yuck! LOL Make sure nothing is clogging the pump (like the occasional lost sock) and check the pump impeller. Make sure no blades on the impeller are missing or broken and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are broken/missing or if the impeller won't turn freely, the pump is defective and will have to be replaced. Hopefully it is just a clogged drain line or pump. Hope this helped and best wishes.
