The F3 E1 error indicates a problem with the oven temperature sensor or a short in the oven temperature circuit. To trouble-shoot this error, unplug the oven. Check the wiring harness for damage and then reconnect it, if it is undamaged. Next check the resistance across the oven temperature sensor. The resistance should be 1080 Ohms at room temperature. Replace the sensor of the resistance is not correct. Otherwise replace the main control board.
Please add a comment with the model of your oven if you want me to look up the parts list or diagram for your appliance.
see this causes and fix it. Read your instr.manual for codes. God bless you F2---Touch Panel Failure Check connections, Replace Control F2--Shorted thermal sensor, will occur if a shorted thermal sensor is
detected continuously over 5 seconds on convection, combination or roast
cooking. Check oven temperature sensor for continuity. Replace if zero
or infinite ohms.
if a sensor is sending an error message which turns the light on, why would disconnecting the battery fix the error message? it will continue to detect the error until it is fixed. that is done by taking it to a trained person who attaches a diagnostic analyzer, gets the codes to figure out what is wrong and fixes it.
the other way is to ignore it and let it fail completely when you are in the middle of nowhere, at night in bad weather and your cell phone battery is dead.
Turn off the breaker and wait for 5 minutes. the follow this 3 steps: --> After turn the breaker back on, go to the range and press "OFF", "OFF", "START", then click on the "clock set", there is a message on the display saying that do you want to delete the error, at this time press on the "START" again.
