Unplug the unit for at least 30 seconds. Plug in, set clock. When making pizza punch in the time you wish it to run, such as "7:30" then "start". Watch carefully the first time to see how much time it takes to cook to your liking.
Ticking sound when unplugged? It sounds like a mechanical timer. Check the timer / control setting is actually on a cooking cycle. The unit may be set on delayed start? If there is no power to the unit, there may be a fuse inside it. You may have to take the back / side off to see.

When the oven is first plugged in "12:00" appears on the display. • Press the "Timer" button twice. The display will begin to blink "12:00". • Adjust the time in steps of one minute by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. • If you hold the button pressed down for more than 6 seconds, the time will change quicker. • Press the "Timer" button to enter the time in the system. If you do not press the "Timer" button, the time will be entered automatically after 30 seconds.
