There is a safety (Anti-Child Entry) switch that is not resetting. First try to reset the machine. This is done by unplugging it from the power source for 30 minutes and then plugging it back in. If that doesn't work you need to Push the Wash Button X 3 seconds to disable it.

Door stay locked after finished washing hotpoint w/machine ref 9526

See if you notice any water still inside the washing machine, if so run another spin cycle to try and remove it as it will not open if there is still water inside.
If you don't see any water inside, try unplugging it and letting it cool off, the lock should release after this

Indesit wd 125. Wash cycle had finished, door lock was off but

Unplug machine, take lid off and locate the door lock. You will have to use a small screwdriver or something to release the lock. Then replace your door handle.

F11 - keeps coming up and the door stays locked.

It may be a draining problem. Locate the pump and remove it, disconnect the hoses.Something may have got into the pump and jammed it. Like coins etc. Access panel may be in the bottom, then lay machine on its side. Have drain hose in a bucket to prevent flooding the floor. To unlock door unplug the power cord should solve that issue. Good luck
