Re: having problem with power leds on motherboard Please...

If you've got the manual goto Chapter 2 page 39 for the arrangement diagram, if your power led is a three pin spacing design use JFP2 otherwise use JFP1, just incase you didn't know pin one is the one with the arrow above it on the back of the plug, the diagram will show you the order, if you don't have the manual you can download it as well as all other updated software and drivers here:

you will need Adobe Acrobat reader which can be downloaded Here:

and if your version of windows is below XP you will need a unzip program eg.Winrar that is downloadable Here:

It's only trial software but it will get the job done, hope this has helped you.

To solve your puzzle, you need to find the manual for your motherboard. If you don't have it still, almost all of them are available online at the manufacturer's support website. The manual always has the pin out diagram for the motherboard, and from there its just a matter of plugging the small connections together. Remember that connections for LED lights have polarity, meaning that they need hooked up one particular direction for the light to work, but any switch connection doesnt matter.

Hope this helps

I have a PLE01 mother board and i need to plug in the hdd,ldd and ect plugs and i don't know how they go as i do not have the manual and cannot read the small print can u help

Today's motherboard are easy to setup because mostly are now color coded like those connection ports. All you have to do is place the cables according to their color coded ports. Connectors are easy to identified because they are also labeled with name. Like the picture below.

Connections ports on the motherboard are also labeled similar to the connector cables above or have a similar abbreviated names like PSW for Power SW.

I hope this could help you..

MotherBoard won't power on (Could be LED placement issue)

Hi there.
On the motherboard look for the front panel, it should be marked PWR and coloured green, also the plug that connects to it should be marked PWR_SW.
Have a look at these pictures for an idea >>>>>>

Front panel connectors

hi im wesley. ok the power and audio connecters is very simple if you look at the bottom right of the motherboard you will see you can plud them and it says the name of witch is the power and witch is audio and it doesnt realy make a difference witch way you put them in just as long as they are on the right pins. the usb might be a little more tricky unless it says witch connecter is the usb 1&2 then its the same as the power led but if you dont come right i will try to get a diagram for you or draw one up but it might not be as accurate tho as i do not own a asus motherboard but i will do my best.
