I have an sony ericsson m600 , i put the battery in and the phone to charger. as soon as i do that screen is flashing on and off along with the buttons and also the red light on the top of the phono is flashing as well , screen is also broken but still lights up , what i can do to repair it ?

Try leaving the battery out overnight. Then put back the battery in and try to turn on. If this didn't help, then your phone's software needs to be flashed.

Where do you see the red light? On the screen itself?
Sometimes this problem occurs because of bad battery contact.
Try to remove the back cover by pressing it, and gently sliding it outwards.
Afterwards, remove the battery using your nails or something soft.
Beware not to break any plastics.
Try and using some pressurized air to clean the contacts, and maybe dust and debris that has accumulated inside.
Then, place the battery back, with the restrictions drawings side up. close the lid, and restart the phone.

not to worry this is a fixable problem..............take te phone to a mobile shop and have them reflash the firmware n custom pack back into the phone and this will correct the problem....the erom needs to be loaded back on the phone.

the main concer is not the broken screen , the main concern is that when the phone connects to power , every light that the phone has go crazy like a luna park...
