Question about Bruder Cat Skid Steer Loader
I have a BObcat 7753. Nothing happens when I turn the key. Good battery. Power to the starter. Lights work.
What makes you think it's the wire harness (visably chewed up?)
how about a simple key switch they go bad all the time on my stuff Poor design by these companys (or is it?) to make the key switch on top, right where rain water runs down off top cage

Testimonial: "Good morning J.D., Thank you for responding. I absolutely can't beleive it, but I discovered last night that I hooked the battery up backwards. Yep, positive to negative and vice-versa. Sheer stupidity. So, now my problem is much bigger than I thought. Trying to find any fuses. I located one to the left of the engine next to two relays. The fuse was good, but I replaced it anyway just in case. No luck. Took off the covers for the ignition switch and the Boss system. No fuses there either. I'm thinking I cooked some wiring. After you get done shaking your head back and forth in disbelief over my stupidity, do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Bill"

sounds to me like a bad connection or a weak solenoid causing the voltage drop. a good alt charges at 14.25-14.50. it takes voltage to open solenoids not close them.
