Hi, Todd for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. V star 950 won't start

Hi, Joe you may have fried the ECM while trying to jump it from the Jeep otherwise the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
4. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
5. Tip over sensor needs a reset.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
10. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
11. Check for engine trouble codes.

Yamaha Msr250 (10" Biamped PA Speaker) It's like new, possibly even new but I can not figure out why the sub will not play. The PA horn works and plays high treble. I see 3 good fuses on the board

Remove the back, follow the 10" speaker wires and check if you can see any obvious bad solder. If you find a bad solder just resolder it and give it a try. You can also check for burnt discrete components like capacitors.

Headlite don't work. I replaced the bulb but didn't help.

Hi, Freebird8282 if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out, blinking, or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.

Motor cycle over- heating, cooling system problem

it could be a few different things, first thing i would check is the fuse, if the fuse is ok, unplug the fan and jump it stright from the battary to make sure your fan is still ok. if the fan dont turn stright from the battary then replace the fan. if it does turn ok then you have a thermo switch that sences heat and tells the fan to kick on, what you need to do to check this switch is, unplug the switch, take a peice of wire maybe about 4 to 6 inches long, strip both ends and connect them to the leads inside the plug.. kinda like direct connect, turn on the ignition and see if the fan turns.. if not, replace the thermo switch. the only other possibility is in the cooling system wireing witch i dont know much about.. i just went threw the same thing with my 2001 yamaha r6 and i changed the fan and it was still popping fuses when the fan was supposed to come on. After 2 days of checking and trying i made the descovery that a wire harness was hitting the fan blade causing it not to turn.. i hope this helps you out and good luck..

When I turn it on the fuse blows up.

Hi..
It will need service.
I would call the music store closest to you that sells PA gear and ask who fixes theirs.
