Water does not stay in the sink. the plunger does not seal properly against the bottom of the sink.

The strainers usually have a rubber, "O" ring or a rubber plug that sets into the strainer housing. Check to see that they are there and are sealing properly. Sometimes debris keeps them off the surface, allowing water to escape.

Water is leaking from the bottom of main unit and they are low pressure output

It's either the seals in the pump or the plungers! If it's a vertical shaft unit the plungers are steel, or ceramic plungers. Ceramics are replaceable. It's more than likely the seals though.

How do I replace the hoses on a Hoover Spin Scrub?

I'm guessing you have an F7000 series machine. You have a bad solenoid. When they go bad they don't close so all the water poors out. Take it to your local vac repair shop for the repair.

I have a Samsung WF316LAS/XAA Washing Machine, has worked great for 4 years. Just started pouring water out of the soap dispenser drawer when in a washing cycle. Any advise

take off the top and check the hose that leads to the tub may be plugged . May have to take the boot(door)seal off front under door to access lower end.

Vax carpet washer deluxe leaks from bottom of water tank, somewhere between coming out of the tank and going into the jet to squirt on the floor. pissing me off - any help would be great!

This is a common problem known by repairers. What happens is residue gets stuck in the seals. The next time you use the machine and press the trigger the seals stay open and water leaks continually. It was suggested that maybe after you finish using the machine you do a whole tank of plain water to rinse it out but I haven't had any luck with that. I am stuck with a machine that doesn't work.

Ice maker leaks water

The GE Icemaker has a center bottom plunger that drives the ice cube discharge tray up and down. If that center plunger oring has failed the ice maker will leak in a drip drip drip fashion. If it only leaks once every cube cycle then it is overflowing when filling. This can be corrected 2 ways. One is to turn of the water supply line and disconnet the water line on the back of the unit. Place the hose into a large bowl of some kiind and then have someone open the valve until the flow is full and then reduce that flow about 50 percent. Remember how many turns it took to get that flow and shut off the water supply line. Then reconnect the line and turn on the water the number of turns you counted when shutting off the water. The PROPER way of setting the water flow timing is to frome the front cover of the ice maker and turn the adjustment screw in the DECREASE direction. My suspicions are that the plunger o-ring is leaking. It costs nearly as much to have the service call to replace the o-ring as it does to replace the ice maker. Your choice but I would replace the icemaker if the plunger is leaking. (mid-bottom point of ice maker) Just note that once a leak occurs in the plunger area if the plunger has corroded the new o-ring will wear out rapidly.

Leak from white plastic box under right side of door

Check the seal around the pipe the plunger runs in. The other thing is to make sure the switch cuts off water fill BEFORE the level gets to the top of that pipe. This could be defective switch or adjustment of it.

The water level should be well below the top of the pipe when filled.

If the switch has gotten wet, it may be defective due to internal damage.

Leaking

If the seal and plungers are ok(bottom of tank), then most likely have a crack on the bottom of the tank, lot of times it will be under the seals, breaks away and will like out.
