Go to www.dysonmedic.com then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "DC02 cable replacement". You will find detailed instructions AND pictures! Can't do better than this.

I have posted up a youtube video showing how to do this repair on a dc08. The dc29 is pretty **** close in design in terms of the motor cavity. In terms of where to buy a motor amazon if you are in the US, VacuumSpot if in Australia, and UK espares.
