Karcher gun leaking

The gun on my Karcher 520M leaks but only when the trigger is pressed, even after I replaced the o ring (PINK IN COLOUR!) on the metal part of the hose that enters the gun. I have taken off the four screws that hold the gun together but still cannot open up the gun to see what the problem is. First question is "how do I open up the gun to see what the problem is? Secondly what is the problem likely to be? Many thanks.

SOURCE: trigger gun

It sounds like you left out the spring in the hose.
There are about 10 different models of K330 with several types of guns. Go here and search until you find the correct gun so you can see the diagram. I think it will be hard to buy a replacement spring, though.

This is two things. One is the back flow check valve to the soap line is leaking. The other is the pressure switch on the output side of the pump.

Water leaking from spray gun

It depends on were the water is leaking from on the gun. If the water is leaking from were the high pressure hose goes into the gun it could be that on oring as been damaged. If the water is coming from the trigger you may need a new trigger gun.

If you tell me your model number (1.xxx-xxx.0) i can tell you the part number that you will need to give to your Karcher dealer/supplier to replace it.

The issue you are having is with the unloader valve in the pump. Now with the 520m it is a little bit harder to repair than with more gasoline powered pressure washers but it can still be done. It would be easier if I could just send you a email of the breakdown on the machine. Send me a email to [email protected] with the discription of the problem you are having.

Karcher 1650 leaking water from trigger

i believe the spring is the actual trigger spring that pushes the trigger switch back in place and the water leaking out is probably a seal issue

Leaking water

The o-ring and the plastic insert is broken. They may not have a part replacement, may have to get a new gun. Take the gun apart and you'll see the problem.

Karcher 520M wont operate at high pressure

The solution is very simple. All you have to do is change the spill valve.
This because the spill valve is not worth servicing. The actual problem is that the spill valve is leaking from its bottom-part seating. When you close the gun, the spill valve goes down, opens from the underside, and switches the electricity off. When you press the gun, the spill valve returns to normal, and if the underside does not close, you have low presure, because the water keeps circulating.

MG. (Karcher service engineer).
