Hi
try to access the sys. mode by pressing F2 + F4 using the password which it is set by your merchant or try the default password (1,alpha-key, alpha-key,668831 ) where u can find the wanted setting..
for the printer , i thinks the right side of the printer is broken or it may be so dusty . in case of printer damage it should be handled to any maintenance center.

thanks ...

Dell Inspiron 530s Desktop fan motor keeps running

It\'s NOT the fan. Check the power save settings on the computer ITSELF. Check your BIOS settings as well. Inspirons ALL do the same thing with waking up.

How can I disable my monitor's sleep mode? I don't want the screen to go black, I want to be able to see the screen saver as it cycles. Thank you.

You can do this in the Power Savings options with Windows. For Windows 7, rght click on the display (anywhere with no icons or running programs) and choose Personalize. Click on Screen Saver in the lower right hand corner. Adjust the Wait time for the screen saver if desired and click Apply. Then click on Change Power Settings. This brings up the Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Settings. Then click on Edit Power Settings for the active power plan. (For desktops it is usually the balanced power). Then change the setting for Turn off monitor to Never when plugged in. Also change the Sleep time for the computer to Never. You can do the same for when on battery but it will shorten the length of time that the computer will be able to run on the battery for laptops. Then Save Changes and close the windows.

For older versions of Windows, these advanced power settings are also available from the Screen Saver settings page but details may differ.

I hope this helps.

I am unable to access the internet from sleep mode Can only get on internet from shut down mode

Three possible causes of sleep mode. first, an extensive screensaver with password lock prevents display. A condition that is observable as a blankscreen also known as sleep mode. Second, a computer power saver settings that shutsdown during idleness. Third, An improper shut down of the computer would have caused a sleep mode to save the system data files.

Restoring the computer to regular functionalioty

First solving predictable sleep mode settings
1. A movement of mouse pointer across the screen should reestablish unprotected password modes
a. password protected sleep mode would display an promp message requiring key code soon after the mouse pointer has changed direction

sloving unpredictable sleep mode settings
1.A computer power saver, screen saver, or splash screen displays prevnting programs acess would require manually powering off the computer system.
a. A manual power back on of the system should restore to program functionality mode

Hp2338h monitor goes to sleep all the time. When turned on it displays for a couple of seconds, then message flashes that its going to sleep. Its a not graphics driver board or power saver setting,...

I've seen on a few Windows 7 machines has been the display turning off after only 15 minutes, even though I set the Turn off the Display option to Never. Weird!
You're probably reading this because you've tried changing the power plan settings to Never for everything and your monitor still turns off! This can be very frustrating and usually occurs with new installs of Windows 7, though I've seen it happen on older installs too.
In this article, I'll go through the different ways you can fix this problem. Note that if your computer is on, but the screen is showing No Signal or No Input, you should read my post on fixing blank or black screens. Now let's go through the possible solutions.
Power Options - Control Panel First, we need to make sure everything is set correctly in Power Options. Click on Start and type in power options or go to Control Panel (icon view) and then open Power Options from there.
Click on Start, then Control Panel and then Hardware and Sound, and then click on Power Options.

Click on the Change plan settings link that is next to the plan that is currently selected. In my case, the High Performance plan is selected, so I'll click on the link next to it.

First, make sure that Put the computer to sleep is set to Never. Next, change the Turn off the display setting to whatever value you want it 10,15 min etc.. You don't have to set it to Never if you don't want to. After this, click on the Change advanced power settings link.

Expand Hard disk and then expand Turn off hard disk after. Reduce the value till it gets to Never. Click OK and then click Save Changes on the Edit Plan Settings page.
Screen Saver - Control Panel The second setting you want to check is the screen saver. Go to Control Panel, click on Personalization, and then click on Screen Saver at the bottom right.

Make sure the setting is set to None. Sometimes if the screen saver is set to Blank and the wait time is 15 minutes, it'll look like your screen has turned off.

BIOS, Graphics Card, Monitor The two methods above are the most common reason why your display will turn off after a set amount of time, however, there can be other possible causes.
BIOS - On some computers, the BIOS can have power saving settings that determine how the computer sleeps. These are called sleep modes (S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5). On some computers, you'll see an option called Deep Sleep Control. You may need to disable this in order for the computer to wake up faster.
Graphics Card - If you have a high-end graphics card installed, make sure you have the latest driver and management software installed. If you go through the settings, you may find an option that puts your graphics card into lower power mode or something similar.

Monitor - Lastly, some monitors have power saving features themselves. Usually, the monitor is supposed to go into power saving mode if it doesn't detect any input (HDMI, VGA, DVI, etc), but sometimes it happens unexpectedly.

You'll have to press the buttons on the monitor to get access to the monitor settings. Those are about all the reasons I could think of for your display turning off when it shouldn't. If you have any other questions please post them here ,Best

Monitor goes into sleep mode as I'm working on it. How do I shut off/

How do you shut off sleep mode? I take it you're using Vista, as XP has "standby:" mode rather than sleep. You first right-click the desktop, then click "personalize." from there, click on "screen saver," and then "change power settings." from there, look on the left hand side of the window and choose the option you want to change. Probably, you'll want to "choose when to turn off the display." Hope this helps,
DH

I want to watch a movie on my pc but it goes into sleep mode 20 minutes into the movie. How can i change the settings. It displays (auto input interjection) how can i change it?

Turn off your screensaver from your desktop settings, and modify your power control settings from within control panel. Alternately, you can make a conscious effort to move the mouse every 19-1/2 minutes. I think I would change the settings.

If you find my suggestions to be helpful, please share with us some details so that others may benefit from knowing the whole story. Thank you!
