I cancelled my account and I was wondering if netflix was going to charge me again after that or is the $7.99 just going to stop right then and there?
Okay, so I saw on my account that netflix had charged me $7.99 after starting a free trial by just creating an account, I swear I never typed in my card or anything and it charged me but I was just wondering if I cancelled my account right now would Netflix charge me again or will the charging stop just as soon as I press cancel

All you need to to do is sign into your Netflix account, then select Cancel Account. There is a button that walks you through the few steps. That should do it. You can also contact the credit card company and let them know to block any additional charges from Netflix.
Visit the Netflix home page and sign in. Go to the "Your Account" tab, which can be accessed via a drop-down menu to the right of the search bar in the upper right-hand corner of your home screen. Once on the "Your Account" page, you'll see a button that says "Cancel Membership" directly under "Membership and Billing," the first heading on the page. Click this button and follow the instructions to cancel your membership.
Implications of Canceling Your Membership
Even if you cancel your membership, you'll still be able to stream movies and television shows until your current billing period elapses. In addition, Netflix keeps your streaming account on file for a year after you have canceled your membership. This means you can cancel your membership for a couple of months and then go right back to it by renewing it and resuming payments, with all of your previous viewing history and preferences still available.
To cancel your Netflix membership:
- Go to netflix.com and log in
- Once logged in, go to your name in the top right and then click "Your Account"
- There is a button right under Membership & Billing to cancel your membership.
Go to to netflix.com and log in to your account, point to that smiley in upper right corner of your screen, the drop down menu will have YOUR ACCOUNT so click on that and there is a button to CANCEL MEMBERSHIP.
Click the "Your Account" tab in the top right corner to access your account page.
Select the "Cancel Membership" button at the top of your account page to start the cancellation process. You will automatically be prompted to confirm the cancellation. Note that you will not be refunded for any partial months.
Select the checkbox to accept the terms of cancellation and click the "Complete Cancellation" button to complete the process. Cancellation of your account will be immediate.
Retrieve the cancellation confirmation email from the email account associated with the Netflix account you are cancelling. Keep this as proof of your cancellation in the event you are accidentally charged in the future.
