Question about Light Outboard Motor Boat Bass Fishing Saltwater Base
The outboard runs well and everything seems to be in order only when sometimes it runs then I just get an increase noise from the outboard motor but the boat is not moving at all why is this?
Rubber hub in the prop might be spun and slipping . If it doesn't have a hub, the shear/drive pin may be sheared off especially if the prop has hit a rock or log.

If the gear lever is loose,it's the gear connection rod that you disconnect to do a g/box drop.If its not loose, drop the g/box off the leg and the first thing you find might be the problem.A loose bolt,a jammed shifter. It will probably be a connection problem than a g/box problemHope this helps
