Question about ESA ET432E TV
The sound n color is good the picture came on 1" across the screen you can't use the remote cause you can't see anything there are no adjustment button on back of tv
The vertical deflection section has failed. It could be a myriad of different things and if you are not technically minded and have an oscilloscope then all you can really check is the integrity of the soldered joints, and capacitors on the circuit board. Chances are, because you have at least an inch of vertical deflection then the fault will be a capacitor that has gone out of specification, usually high. Check around the vertical section for capacitors that have the plastic wrap shrinking on them, or around heatsinks. This is usually a good place to start. Replace any suspect looking ones or remove from the board and test individually. There will not be any user friendly vertical adjustment control. Who knows you might get lucky! Good luck
