Flickering pixels (by 3 users)

posted by dg23 on Oct 30, 2007

My NEC model LCD1970GX 19" monitor is two years old. My computer is a mac. I have been experiencing an increase and now unbearable flickering of pixels in the light blue range. I've been taking a class "Fine Art Digital Photography" and have recently tried recalibrating the monitor with the MAC calibrator on my OSX but can't get rid of the pixels without lowering the contrast to almost nothing.

Help!!

I have the exact same problem with my Windows XP pc, when there is blue being displayed on the left half of my Acer LCD screen, many pixels will rapidly turn on and off.
