Question about Vacuums

Open Question

Sem cambridge s360

Dear Sirs, I suspect the ion pump is not working properly. I may be wrong. The microscope was working fine before I vented the chamber. Prior to that, I have closed the isolation valve between the chamber and column. The chamber is working fine (10-6), but the column and gun vacuum weren't. When I open the isolation valves between column/chamber and column/gun, the pressure in the chamber was ok (not fluctuating). Does it means the ion pump is not working and did not pump the gun column to 10-7. I have waited for several hours with both isolation valves closed. Thank you. - Nikki-

SOURCE: pressure relief valve opens

Hi.

If the hose works ok then you have A blockage in the section of the machine that goes from the brush roller to the wastebin.

Just remove the soleplate under the machine & check all the airways working back to the wastebin. definately check removeable inspection ports you will probably find omething in them blocking the airway.

SOURCE: Dyson Animal, lost suction and bypass valve seems to be loose

Dear terrygivens, 2-17-2009 4:12am EST (USA)

Most suction problems are caused by a clog from picking up something you probably didn't see or if you have pets an accumulation of pet hairs!

To clear it out take a metal coat hanger and unbend it til it's straight, then bend the end and tape it so when you push it through to unclog your vac it doesn't rip the hose.

Push the coat hanger in from the bottom brush area through the opening where the suction is. Also push it in and out anywhere else you can......You'll probably find something clogged....keep working it til it loosens and intermittently turn on the suction.

If you have a second vac with a hose, use that hose for suction on the clogged vac!

This should do it!

SOURCE: System will spray soap, but no water is mixed.

I had the same problem. After 3 weeks of seals belts pump etc. I was ready to give up.
The problem with mine as I suspect with others is the seal on the water tank.
The bottom plastic connector is not high enough to allow the water to flow to the pump.
My solution was to raise the bottom connector 3/16 of an inch.
I did this with a piece of plastic cut like a flat washer or auto gasket material could be used.
The connector must be removed from the bottom by pressing on the tabs. Hope this helps.

My dyson DC 59 Motorhead works fine for a period of time then just quits. The run time seems unusually short and does not slowly lose power but stops abruptly. What is the problem?

Modern lithium Ion rechargeable batteries don't slow down as they discharge, they run full appliance and then just boom they are dead. You need a new battery

I have a rug doctor blue machine. It will not spray anymore. Great suction. It is connected properly. Any suggestions?

Only two things can be wrong here, either the solution hose is plugged, kinked or undone from it's source, or the pump motor is not working. I'd try the hose first, if you can, take it off at the pump and then turn the machine on. If you get solution pumping out of the unit, then it's not the little pump motor and your problem is in the hose.

Hello, I have a VZ-702M Lithium-Ion battery kit

Friend Dean,
A quick anonymous search of all the Web via the search terms [ buy VZ-702M battery] and the mighty mighty http://ixquick.com Privacy-Enforcing Meta-Search Engine from Heaven reveals on the first pass that URL
http://www.amazon.com/VariZoom-VZ-702M-Rechargeable-Lithium-Ion-Mounting/dp/B0010CDOV4
provides the item you seek @ $35.90 USD - with free shipping included - at least to US customers. Three in stock at lookup-time fwiw. YMMV re Amazon service due to your own location, of course - but I for one do tend to think Ixquick will doubtless prove productive for you too if so.
Good luck! (FINE monitor, btw.) And that is all. 0{;-)o[

After a brief power outage my Marantec 4700 garage door opener has problems opening/closing. When opening it stops at the fully open position and the lights blink, when closing it automatically reverses...

This is not a sensor issue, I have a similar problem, sensors work fine, garage door is still fully functional, all operations, including safety sensors work properly, just the overhead lights flash. I suspect there was damage to the power board due to a power surge, going to order a replacement to see if it works, will let you know how it goes.

Hoover Windtunnel

Mine does the same thing. There is no suction. I found that there is a door that opens when you tilt the handle in the down possition. I think there should be a spring in place so it can open. Until I find a replacement spring I have to open the door manually throught the opening under the light.
