Question about Tablets & eReaders
Plug charger in will not charge
Test your charger with a multi-meter, does it output the correct supply? If not you need a new charger.
If your charger is ok, take a look at the charging socket, is it damaged in any way? Does the charger feel loose when it's plugged into the socket? If so you may need to have your charging socket repaired/replaced.
After checking all this the next thing I would try is a new battery. However, most tablets will at least work from main supply, even if the battery is faulty.

You could go to the place you bought it or another tech store and see if they have another tablet like yours lying around so you could test out and see if it is just your power cord that needs to be replaced. Because most likely it's time to buy a new power cord. Hopefully you didn't fry the tablet's motherboard also that's why you should test out the power cord first.
