you need to try it with the correct sony ericsson charger for it , if that still does not show the battery indicator when you power on the phone then take it to ahve it looked at.
you should have charged it for 4-6 hours,try using a different battery if you think you have charged it fully.new cellphones requires longer time to be charged

Goto Sony ericsson site.
search for w810i SEUS Sonys update system.
At the bottom result it says"Sony Ericsson - Support - Update Service Compatible with K510i W810i W200i .
Click on that and dowload the program. At the right corner it shows the phones which supports it.
install the program and run it.
do exactly what it says.
it worked for me. I got all my contacts and messages back.

G'day, tell me, when you press the on/off button does the infra red port flash a red light? If so the is a software related fault. On my google page: http://trogg07.googlepages.com/. There's a set of instructions that have worked for K800 but apparently it works with any SE phone that uses a DCu-60 Cable. You could try it at your own risk. Tell me how it goes. Cheers
