We have a Bush 4.1 CH150W Sound Bar connected to a Samsung 43" TV via the headphone socket. Sound is good but keeps going silent for a few seconds every so often. Thought it was Sound Bar & exchanged it but keeps happening with 2nd sound Bar.

TV works okay when Sound Bar is not connected (but with inferior sound quality). Could it be a bad connection or is this a problem with this particular Sound Bar?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: bush 32" lcd tv no picture but has sound picture

Hello,

Problem is in either power supply or - my bet - the Y-Sustain board.

The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.

Often there are fuses on that board - one or more. Check those.

if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.

often that *needs* to be done in a service center as there are some adjustments to be made after replacement; don't know about this particular TV model.

Take care......

Set the receiver for 5.1 instead of stereo. Some receivers disable the surround speakers on stereo setting.

If there is any audio out sockets at the rear or side panel of the TV; you can connect it to amplifier. If not, no possibility.

How do I stop my Bush 50W sound bar from going to standby every 60 minutes?

I searched but couldn't find anything on this. Have you worked completely through the setup menu - perhaps there is an option to disable autostandby. Good luck and let us know what you find via comment.

Bush 4.1 sound bar cuts out, connected via optical sound cuts out it is intermittent, happens on tv, dvd/blue ray and media player setting. Any ideas how to stop this happening. Have tried rca cables etc

I get a similar issue from my Bush sound bar. The sound drops out when the tv programme/movie etc has a period of silence in the audio track or just very low background music (no speech). As soon as someone begins to speak it starts up, but usually it misses the first couple of words. Bar is connected directly to a Samsung tv via the optical cable. Any ideas?

Get a cheap set of PC speakers and a headphone jack splitter.(the old TV apparently was designed to not turn the speakers off when you plugged in headphones).

I have a Bush TV model- IDLED 2401. When I put my earphones into the PCAudio Socket there is no result and the TV normal sound is not cut off. Is there some way I can rig up my earphones to get them...

That PC audio socket miniphone jack is for AUDIO INPUT (Green jack) when you use it as a computer monitor, it is to be connected to the PC AUDIO OUTPUT jack (Green) on the PC. Your TV does not have headphone output jack.
To be able to use the headphone with this TV, you will need to look at the on screen sound setup to see if you can turn the TV speakers on/ and off first, if it does not have that function then there is not much you can do.
Post back what you find so we can go further.

No sound or picture from dvd

And you have selected the HDMI2 input in the TV menu? If yes, try the dvd on another TV, if you have one. Also try reversing the HDMI cable.
