the dash lights dont get fed from the stereo , you may have dislodged the wiring connector from the rear of the dash , give them all a push back on , don't worry about the spare wires , they will be for an electric aerial etc

The best thing to do is use a factory wire adapter. The main wires you need to worry about are power, battery memory, ground and speaker wires. If you have a power antenna you will need to wire in the remote (normally blue or light blue). The only other wire should be an orange wire for the dimmer on the radio face. This one is not necessary for normal operation. Make sure you have the main 11 wires wired in. Ignition, battery, ground and the 8 speaker wires.
take it back out check for naked wires and if insulated good ,then look on back of the deck there should be a fuse if its bad replace it ,and check the fuse box under the hood and on drivers side under the steering wheels left side fuse box, theres 3 fuses usally to the stereo check them all.if my info was of any help to you please leave a comment thankyou.
First you need to go to Schoche.com and Purchase a Small Blue Box that will let you convert the Audio wires into RCA Jacks. Got one for my 2007 Scion Xa Worked Great! You will still need to run your wires for the amp and Run RCA Cables to the Stereo. This box will cut into the Rear Speaker wires and still allow the Speakers to work while allowing you to Connect the RCA Cables for the Amp to the Box.
use a test light with ignition off when u find power connect it to yellow(memory) then on acc when u find power conect red connect black to earth blue is optional (power antenna) find the speaker wires colors at the back of each speaker and connect the two of the same color to each speaker striped wire + no stripe - hope this helps
